The purpose of this initiative is to bring Greek Americans together once a year to explore different parts of Europe as a group. This is a wonderful opportunity for us to gather, enjoy a cruise, and connect with one another.
We will host a day of festivities, including a cocktail party, which will allow us to celebrate our heritage together. Additionally, we will organize private shore excursions exclusively for our group, allowing us to visit various locations in Europe just for us “our parea”.
This event is a great chance to make new friends, reconnect with old friends, and to celebrate our shared culture while discovering the beauty of Europe.

Chandris Lines was originally established to transport Greek immigrants fleeing Europe after World War II. The line purchased aging liners and gave them new life, and their fleet became popular with passengers and crew. Some of the ships in the Chandris fleet included:
- RHMS ELLINIS: Formerly the Matson liner "Lurline", this ship was converted to serve the immigrant run to Australia.
- RHMS AUSTRALIS: Chandris' flagship and largest ship in the fleet.
The Chandris Group also founded Celebrity Cruises in 1988, which merged with Royal Caribbean International in 1997.
The big “X” on the funnel of Celebrity Cruise ships represents the Greek letter chi for “Chandris”. Till today many crew members are of Greek descent.
